We begin with the Ivriyt (Hebrew) spelling for the city Seoul, South Korea. In the Ivriyt, it is spelled:
שאול
Here is the word in Ivriyt for She’ol (also Sha’ul):
שְׁאוֹל
With that in mind, let’s take a look at a couple of critical passages for our understanding as to what arises now before us. In several passages, we see a joining of both She’ol and Abbadon (destruction).
Iyov (Job) 26:5-7
The Repha’iym are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof. 6 She’ol is naked before him, and Abaddon has no covering. 7 He stretches out the darkness over the formlessness, and hangs the earth upon nothing.
Mishlei (Proverbs) 15:11
She’ol and Abaddon are before YAHUAH; much less than the hearts of the sons of men.
When we look at this word from Iyov (Job) we find many things. First, we find that the Repha’iym (the souls of one of the generations of the Fallen Watchers) are formed from under the waters. Which waters, we might ask? Could it be the waters below which were divided from the waters above by the firmament which is heaven? See Bere’shiyth (Genesis) 1:6.
We see also in this passage that the darkness (tsaphon – the hidden parts of the north, or above) is stretched out over the formlessness (the tohu, as it is called in Bere’shiyth (Gen.) 1:2. Into this formlessness, the earth hangs upon nothing.
But in the center of this verse, we see that She’ol is naked (exposed) and that Abaddon is without a covering. [We note that the common interpretation uses the word destruction, instead of the word Abaddon.]
In Mishlei (Proverbs) Shalomah (Solomon) tells us a similar story, joining She’ol and Abaddon together.
So, are there any New Testament verses which make reference to Abbadon? There sure is. It can be found at Chizayon (Revelation) 9-11 (nine-eleven).
Chizayon (Revelation) 9:11
And they had a king over them: the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Ivriyt tongue is Abaddon, but in the Yavaniy tongue his name is Apollyon.
We see here, when we look at the word Abaddon in the Ivriyt (אֲבַדּוֹן) (Strong’s H11), we find the word abaddon, which is generally interpreted as perishing; concrete; Hades; or destruction.
So, we can conclude that She’ol is joined with a king who is an angel, and whose name means destruction. Although we have a passage here in Iyov (Job) that references the Repha’iym, She’ol and Abaddon in the same verse, can we conclude that the Repha’iym are part of this equation?
Yesha`yahu (Isaiah) 14:9-12
She’ol from beneath is moved for you to meet you at your coming: it stirs up the Repha’iym for you, even all the chief ones of the earth; it has raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations. 10 All they shall speak and say to you: Have you also become weak as we? Have you become like us? 11 Your pomp is brought down to She’ol, and the noise of your viols: the worm is spread under you, and the worms cover you. 12 How are you fallen from heaven, O Heylel, son of the howling morning! How you are cut down to the ground, who did weaken the nations!
Now, for purposes of our prophetic understanding, it is She’ol that stirs up the Repha’iym (the souls of the dead giants). What forms do these Repha’iym take when they return?
Chizayon (Revelation) 9:1-10
AND the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven to the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. 2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. 3 And locusts came out of the smoke upon the earth: and to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. 4 And it was commanded of them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which do not have the seal of YAHUAH in their foreheads. 5 And it was given to them that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented for five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he strikes a man. 6 And in those days men shall seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. 7 And the shapes of the locusts were like horses prepared for battle; and on their heads were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. 8 And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. 9 And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. 10 And they had tails like scorpions, and there were stings in their tails; and their power was to hurt men for five months.
Let’s return, however, to our discussion of prophecy in respect of a war in Korea.
Yesha`yahu (Isaiah) 28:14-22
Wherefore hear the Word of YAHUAH, you scornful men, that rule this people who are in Yerushalayim. 15 Because you have said: We have cut a covenant with death, and with She’ol are we את eth-at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come to us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
16 Therefore thus says ADONAI YAHUAH, Behold, I lay in Tsiyon for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believes shall not make haste. 17 Judgment I will also lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.
18 And your covenant את eth-with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement את eth-with She’ol shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then you shall be trodden down by it. 19 From the time that it goes forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report. 20 For the bed is shorter than that a man can stretch himself on it: and the covering narrower than that he can wrap himself in it. 21 For YAHUAH shall rise up as in Mount Peratsiym, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Giv`on, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act. 22 Now therefore be you not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from ADONAI YAHUAH TSEVA’OTH a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.
It is here that we see that the covenant with She’ol (Seoul?) is a covenant with death. The judgment to come upon Babel / Tsiyon is one that is done pursuant to a dividing line. This is important, Tsiyon is in captivity in Babel – that is, the house of Yashar’el labours under the New World Order, without representation, without the right of redress, without freedom, and without individualism. We are in captivity, yet, YAH will draw a line between those of Babel and those of Yashar’el, and those of Babel are appointed to have hail sweep away their refuge of lies, and waters will overflow their hiding place [read: Tsunami!]. Therefore, it is a lie that the overflowing scourge will pass through, and we are hiding ourselves in falsehood. Can this be true?
We live in an era of disinformation (propaganda by any other name) where critical information is omitted from daily consumption (fraud by omission) and other information given is categorically false (fraud by commission). Now, the axiom “fake news” has entered the lingual paradigm as a common (and commonly understood) expression.
Often, people ask the question whether it is lawful to kill in warfare. The debate sometimes circles around the phrase in the Ivriyt (Hebrew) found in the Ten Devariym (Shemoth 20; Devariym 5): Lo ratsach. Some argue it says “thou shalt not murder,” and others “thou shalt not kill.” What is the fate of those who are without circumcised hearts who die in warfare?
Yechezq’el (Ezekiel) 31:17
They also went down into She’ol with him to those who are slain with the sword; and those who were his arm, that dwelt under his shadow in the midst of the other nations.
Yechezq’el (Ezekiel) 32:21
The strong among the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst of She’ol with them את eth-that help him: they are gone down, they lie uncircumcised, slain by the sword.
Yechezq’el (Ezekiel) 32:27
And they shall not lie את eth-with the mighty that are fallen of the uncircumcised, which are gone down to She’ol with their weapons of war: and they have laid את eth-their swords under their heads, but their iniquities shall be upon their bones, though they were the terror of the mighty in the land of the living.
Here is one more verse which may discuss this relationship with She’ol (Seoul?):
Chizayon (Revelation) 6:7-8
And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say: Come and see. 8 And I looked, and behold a green horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and She’ol followed with him. And power was given to them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
Will a fourth part of the earth die in this upcoming war? It’s a question. Consider a couple of other prophecies which relate to this issue:
A prophecy for Asia:
4 Ezra (4 Esdras) 15:46-63
And you, Asia, that are partaker of the hope of Babel, and are the glory of her person: 47 Woe be to you, you wretch, because you have made yourself like her; and have decked your daughters in whoredom, that they might please and glory in your lovers, which have always desired to commit whoredom with you. 48 You have followed her that is hated in all her works and inventions: therefore says ELOHIYM, 49 I will send plagues upon you; widowhood, poverty, famine, sword, and pestilence, to waste your houses with destruction and death. 50 And the glory of your power shall be dried up as a flower, the heat shall arise that is sent over you. 51 You shall be weakened as a poor woman with stripes, and as one chastised with wounds, so that the mighty and lovers shall not be able to receive you. 52 Would I with jealousy have so proceeded against you, says YAHUAH, 53 If you had not always slain my chosen, exalting the stroke of your hands, and saying over their dead, when you were drunken, 54 Set forth the beauty of your countenance? 55 The reward of your whoredom shall be in your bosom, therefore shall you receive recompence. 56 Like as you have done to my chosen, says YAHUAH, even so shall ELOHIYM do to you, and shall deliver you into mischief 57 Your children shall die of hunger, and you shall fall through the sword: your cities shall be broken down, and all yours shall perish with the sword in the field. 58 Those who be in the mountains shall die of hunger, and eat their own flesh, and drink their own blood, for very hunger of bread, and thirst of water. 59 You as unhappy shall come through the sea, and receive plagues again. 60 And in the passage they shall rush on the idle city, and shall destroy some portion of your land, and consume part of your glory, and shall return to Babel that was destroyed. 61 And you shall be cast down by them as stubble, and they shall be to you as fire; 62 And shall consume you, and your cities, your land, and your mountains; all your woods and your fruitful trees shall they burn up with fire. 63 Your children shall they carry away captive, and, look, what you have, they shall spoil it, and mar the beauty of your face.
Therefore we consider that the gates of She’ol may open at Seoul.
