Welcome to this week's Exclusive Insider Update! Today we're going to take an inside look at the what Torah says about immigration and how the Lexicon can assist in a greater understanding.
The topic of immigration is paramount in the world, right now, including the United States. At present, there is an immigrant caravan of Central Americans pressing the southern border of the U.S. How should that be handled, according to Torah?
Torah sets forth a specific set of laws regarding the treatment of the alien. The Ivriyt (Hebrew) language further reinforces the truth regarding the English transliteration. Shemoth (Exodus) 2:21-22 is a prime example of this.
This is why having a Lexicon, as part of your study tools, is so helpful. It provides clarity and deeper insight, into the truth of Torah, by identifying word meanings specific to names and places we may not consider otherwise. Gershom is a great example of this, as you will see.
