In the Eth Cepher, we have set forth the name of Messiah as YAHUSHA (יהושע). This name is identical to the name we have set forth in Numbers describing the Ephraimite Husha, the son of Nun, who was selected as one of the twelve to spy out the Promised Land during the beginning of the Exodus.

Of the tribe הטֶּמַ of Ephraim אֶפְרַ֫יִם, Husha הוֹשֵׁ֫עַ the son בֵּן of Nun נוֹן.

These are the names שֵׁם of the men אֱנוֺשׁ which Moshe מֹשֶׁה sent שָׁלַח to spy out תּוּר the land אֶרֶץ. And Moshe מֹשֶׁה called קָרָא Husha הוֺשֵׁעַ the son בֵּן of Nun נוּן Yahusha יְהוֹשׁ֫וּעַ.
Let’s take a moment to discuss the Hebrew. In the Masoretic text, you see the name Yahusha spelled in the Hebrew yod (י) heh (ה) vav (ו) shin (ש) vav (ו) ayin (ע) or Yahushua. Therefore, the assumption is that Moshe added not only YAH – the name of He who visited Moshe at the burning bush, but also added the vav to create “shua” as the ending syllable. Maybe this is so – or maybe it was added.
Consider the word “shua” - Strong's Hebrew Dictionary 7737 sets forth שָׁוָה “shua” as shavah. Its usage within the KJV means to level, i.e. equalize; figuratively, to resemble; by implication, to adjust (i.e. counterbalance, be suitable, compose, place, yield, etc.):--avail, behave, bring forth, compare, countervail, (be, make) equal, lay, be (make, a-) like, make plain, profit, reckon.
Therefore, the name YAHUSHUA can be understood as YAH, which is the shortened name of the Father, HU (in the Hebrew (הוא)), which means “he”, and finally “shua”, which means makes level or equal. Therefore, YAHUSHUA means in this analysis, YAH is He who makes equal. The term YAH is found in 45 verses in the Tanakh, including Shemot (Exodus) 15:2
YAH יָהּ is my strength עֹז and song זִמְרָת, and he is become my yeshua (salvation) יְשׁוּעָה: he זֶה is my God אֵל, and I will prepare him an habitation נָוָה; my father's אָב God אֱלֹהִים, and I will exalt רוּם him.
Now, YAHUSHA means YAH is He who spares (שָׁעָ sha). YAHUSHUA means YAH is He who makes equal, and YESHUA means salvation. We have elected to publish the name YAHUSHA, because we believe it is the most accurate name given to the Messiah, as he was given the same name as Husha/Yahusha son of Nun, whom the English world has always called Joshua.
Would you still worship if His name was in the English JOSHUA?
Why wasn’t it used in the English translation of the King James? For that matter, how did Ya’akov become James, when the natural translation was Jacob?
Take a look at the passage in Zakaryahu 3 that tells us more about Joshua (Yahusha).
AND he showed me Yahusha the high priest [in the order of Melchizedek?] standing before the angel of YAHUAH, and Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him. 2 And YAHUAH said unto Satan, YAHUAH rebuke you, O Satan; even YAHUAH that has chosen Yerushalayim rebuke you: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire? 3 Now Yahusha was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel. 4 And he answered and spoke unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused your iniquity to pass from you, and I will clothe you with change of raiment. 5 And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of YAHUAH stood by. 6 And the angel of YAHUAH protested unto Yahusha, saying, 7 Thus says YAHUAH TSEVA’OT; If you will walk in my ways, and if you will keep my charge, then you shall also judge my house, and shall also keep my courts, and I will give you places to walk among these that stand by. 8 Hear now, O Yahusha the high priest, you, and your fellows that sit before you [the twelve disciples?]: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH [tsemach]. 9 For behold the stone that I have laid before Yahusha; upon one stone shall be seven eyes:* behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, says YAHUAH TSEVA’OT, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day. 10 In that day, says YAHUAH TSEVA’OT, shall ye call every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig tree.
Zakaryahu (Zachariah) 4:10
For who has despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of YAHUAH, which run to and fro through the whole earth.
Chizayon (Revelation) 5:6
And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven RUACH’OTH of ELOHIYM sent forth into all the earth.
